Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. boneless round steak
    1/2 envelope onion soup mix (2 Tbsp.)
    1 (6 oz.) can sliced mushrooms (reserve liquid)
    1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
Preparation
    Trim fat from meat and render in skillet.
    Remove rendered pieces with slotted spoon and discard.
    Cut meat into 1/4-inch strips, 2 or 3-inches long.
    Put 1/4 quantity of meat into skillet, browning quickly.
    Repeat until all meat is cooked, then return meat to skillet.
    Stir in soup mix and mushrooms with liquid; heat until bubbly and meat is tender.
    Slowly stir in sour cream until blended, stirring constantly until heated.
    Serve over noodles.
