Chicken And Shrimp Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 whole chicken
    1 pinch of red pepper
    1 Tbsp. onion flakes
    1 tsp. shrimp spices
    1 stalk celery
    1 clove garlic
    salt and pepper
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. oil
    1 large onion, chopped
    3/4 c. chopped green pepper
    broth
    fresh shelled shrimp
    about 1/2 lb. shell-roni, cooked
Preparation
    First you boil the chicken with the first 5 spices and salt and pepper; boil until tender.
    Strain broth off of chicken and save. Debone chicken and set aside.
    Then you make a roux (gravy) out of the oil and flour, brown together over low heat.
    Add the large onion and green pepper.
    Saute for 3 minutes, then add broth to make a good gravy, then add the chicken pieces and simmer for 10 minutes.
    Add the fresh shelled shrimp.
    Simmer 1/2 hour.
    If you need more broth or water, add to this to make it a little soupier. Dip it over cooked shell-roni or noodles.
