Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 c. dark molasses
    extra sugar
Preparation
    Sift first 5 ingredients together 3 times.
    Return to sifter. Beat butter and shortening until creamy.
    Gradually add cup of sugar; continue to beat.
    Beat in egg and molasses.
    Sift 1/4 flour mixture over molasses mixture.
    Stir and repeat until all flour mixture is used.
    Shape dough into large marble size balls. Roll balls in extra sugar.
    Place 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
