Apple Cake (Old English) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 apples, diced fine
1 c. fine walnuts
5 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. unsifted flour
2 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
4 eggs
1 c. oil
juice of 1 orange

Preparation

Refrigerate 1 hour diced apples, walnuts, sugar and cinnamon. Mix together the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, eggs, oil and juice of orange.
Mix well.
Grease tube pan.
Pour part of cake mix in first, then alternate apple mix and cake mix, ending with apple.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until done.
No need for icing.
