Amaretti(Italian Macaroons) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. blanched peeled almonds
1 1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
2 egg whites
2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Cover a large cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
Butter and flour it lightly and set aside.
Grind almonds in food processor with the granulated sugar.
Blend the egg whites and almond flavoring into the mixture, while processor is running.
The batter should have the consistency of soft dough.
