Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. uncooked rice
    1 (3 oz.) can mushrooms (slices)
    1/2 c. butter
    6 to 8 green onions, chopped
    3 cans beef consomme (may add 1 beef bouillon cube for extra flavor)
    2 cans water
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Saute rice and mushrooms in butter.
    Add chopped onion and liquid.
    Add salt, as desired.
    Put in casserole and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Top with parsley and serve.
