Refrigerator Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. crushed Shredded Wheat
2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. melted shortening
2 eggs
2 c. Bran Buds or All-Bran
1 c. boiling water
2 Tbsp. honey
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
-
Combine Shredded Wheat and boiling water.
Add following in the order given and mix well while adding: 1/2 cup buttermilk, honey, shortening, sugar, eggs, baking soda, remaining buttermilk, Bran Buds and flour.
Store in refrigerator up to 5 weeks.
Or place in muffin tins and bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
Makes 24 muffins.
