Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. white sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. milk
    2 c. 1 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. raw rhubarb
Preparation
    Blend shortening, sugar, salt and egg.
    Add baking soda and milk to mixture.
    Stir in flour and rhubarb (cut in small pieces). Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0 in 9 x 13 pan.
