Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. shortening
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 beaten egg
2 1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. dry milk
7 c. flour
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening in a large mixing bowl. Combine 1/2 cup lukewarm water, 1 teaspoon sugar and yeast; stir well. Pour 1 cup boiling water over creamed mixture; stir until dissolved. Add 1 cup cold water and egg. Stir. Add yeast mixture and stir. Add salt, milk and 6 cups flour; stir well. Let rest 5 minutes. Turn onto remaining flour on a board. Knead until elastic. Place in oiled bowl; turn once to oil top. Cover lightly. Place in refrigerator until needed. Form dough into desired shape rolls. Place on greased pan; let rise until double in size. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
