Golden Fruit Salad Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. butter
    1/4 c. orange juice
    1/4 c. pineapple juice
    1/2 c. heavy cream, chilled
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/4 c. sugar
    3 egg yolks
Preparation
    Melt butter in top of double boiler; add fruit juices, sugar and slightly beaten egg yolks.
    Cook mixture over gently boiling water until thick (about 10 minutes), stirring constantly; cool. Just before using, fold in the whipped cream.
    Yields about 3/4 pint dressing.
