Rosie'S Pecan Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box light brown sugar
    1 stick butter
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Pour milk into sugar to make a soft mix.
    Add butter and cook until this boils, stirring continuously.
    Add pecans and cook until thick (soft ball stage).
    Take off of the fire.
    Add vanilla and beat approximately 5 minutes or until it loses its gloss. Pour on buttered pan or waxed paper.
