Chicken-Noodle Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 whole chicken, cut up
1 qt. water
4 carrots, chopped
4 celery stalks, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 Tbsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 chicken bouillon cubes
2 c. uncooked egg noodles
Preparation

Heat all ingredients, except for noodles, to boiling in a 4-quart Dutch oven.
Reduce heat.
Cover and simmer until chicken is done (about 45 minutes).
Cook noodles as directed on package. Remove chicken from broth and let cool slightly.
Remove bones and skin from chicken.
Cut chicken into 1-inch pieces.
Add chicken pieces and noodles to broth. Heat about 5 minutes.
