Ingredients

3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can coconut
1/4 lb. butter
1 egg and milk for 1 c.
1/2 tsp. vanilla
melted butter
sugar
Preparation

Cream butter, sugar, egg and milk.
Mix flour mixture in.
Add vanilla. Mix together well.
Make 3 balls, roll out thin.
Spread melted butter over dough.
Sprinkle sugar and coconut over half of dough.
Fold in half, cut into strips about 1/2 inch wide and twist.
Place on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Roll in powdered sugar.
