Whole Wheat Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
    1 egg
    1/4 c. shortening
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. flour
    1 c. whole wheat flour
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients, except whole wheat flour.
    Cream sugar and shortening together.
    Add beaten egg and sour milk, alternately with dry ingredients.
    Mix just enough to dampen dry ingredients.
    Bake at 375\u00b0.
    Makes 1 dozen.
