Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. mashed, cooked sweet potatoes
1 stick margarine
3 egg yolks
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. milk
2 egg whites
1/2 c. sugar
1 pie crust

Preparation

Mix first 8 ingredients together; add milk.
Beat egg whites with 1/4 cup sugar; add to sweet potato mixture and pour into pie crust.
Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake until firm.
