Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. lukewarm water
5 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in water and set aside.
Mix dry ingredients and cut in Crisco.
Stir in buttermilk and yeast mixture.
Blend well.
Dough is ready to be refrigerated or made into biscuits. Turn dough onto floured counter and knead lightly.
Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter.
Place in greased pan.
Let rise slightly.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes, until lightly browned.
