Granny Alice Henry'S Crumb Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1/4 c. Crisco
    2 eggs
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Blend first 4 ingredients and set aside about 1 1/2 cups of this mixture to use for crumb topping.
    To the remaining mixture, add the last 4 ingredients.
    Pour into 3 greased 8-inch cake pans and sprinkle with the reserved crumb mixture.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven about 15 to 20 minutes.
