Better Than Luv Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
1 (10 oz.) can crushed pineapple or bigger if desired
1 small box yellow instant pudding
1 medium container Cool Whip
1 can Angel Flake coconut
1/2 to 1 c. sugar (depending on your desire of sweetness)
halved red cherries *

Preparation

Mix cake mix according to directions and pour in 9 x 11-inch greased casserole dish.
While cake is cooking, in a small saucepan mix 1 can pineapple and sugar.
Mix until sugar dissolves; let cool.
