Barbecue Ribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. pork or beef ribs
    1 chopped onion
    1 small, chopped bell pepper
    2 c. catsup
    1 c. water
    1 Tbsp. mustard
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/4 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Brown ribs in skillet in small amount of oil.
    Layer ribs in baking dish.
    Drain grease from skillet.
    In same skillet, simmer the onion and bell pepper until tender.
    Add catsup, water, mustard, vinegar and brown sugar.
    Simmer until it thickens.
    Pour over ribs in baking dish.
    Bake 1 hour.
    Serve with mashed potatoes.
    Use sauce as gravy.
