Hot Bacon Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 egg
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp.
    Remove pan from heat.
    Beat eggs, sugar and vinegar with a fork until blended.
    Add the egg mixture to the bacon drippings and blend with a spoon.
    Return the pan to low heat and stir constantly until thick.
    Overcooking will cause separation.
    Pour hot mixture over spinach, endive or lettuce.
