Beef Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    4 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
    4 to 6 slices cheese (American or Swiss)
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and onion.
    Drain.
    Add salt, pepper and soup.
    Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.
    In 2-quart casserole, place 1/2 meat mixture.
    Add the potatoes and top with cheese slices.
    Add remaining meat mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1/2 hour or until potatoes are tender.
