Sweet Potato Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. mashed, cooked sweet potatoes
    1/3 c. melted butter
    1 egg, well beaten
Preparation
    Sift flour, then measure.
    Add baking powder and salt; sift again.
    Work in mashed sweet potatoes, melted butter and egg. Roll 1/4-inch thick and use as cover for chicken or meat deep dish pie.
    Yields pastry for 1 (9-inch) crust.
