Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
    2 sticks butter, softened
    1 c. cream of chicken soup
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 pt. sour cream
    1 tsp. salt or seasoned salt
    dash of garlic powder
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 c. crushed cornflakes
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together except 1/2 stick butter and cornflakes.
    Pour in greased 9 x 13-inch pan or casserole.
    Melt 1/2 stick butter.
    Pour over 2 cups crushed cornflakes.
    Put on top of potato mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour, uncovered, or until brown.
