Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium potatoes, peeled and chopped
    1 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 can mushroom or cream of chicken soup
    1 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Combine potatoes, onion and water in stew pan and cook until tender. Add oleo and mushroom soup and let simmer on low heat for 5 minutes; add black pepper to taste.
    Serve warm.
    Serves 2 or three.
