Pecan Pie Surprise Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (18 1/2 oz.) Pillsbury butter or yellow cake mix
    1/2 c. margarine, melted
    1 egg
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. dark corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
Preparation
    Generously grease bottom and sides of a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
    Reserve 2 to 3 cups dry cake mix for filling.
    Combine remaining cake mix in large mixing bowl with melted margarine and 1 egg.
    Mix until crumbly.
    Press into prepared pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes, until light golden brown.
