Creamed Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. green cabbage
4 Tbsp. milk
2 Tbsp. butter
2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. white pepper
4 Tbsp. water or meat broth
Preparation

Wash the cabbage, using only the heart and tender parts. Slice the large leaves once and cut all into about 2-inch lengths. Cook cabbage in water or broth for 5 minutes.
Melt butter; add cornstarch paste made with milk.
Cook until thick and add to cabbage.
Continue cooking for another minute and serve hot.
