Ingredients

1/2 bushel of beets
1 1/2 c. vinegar
2 1/2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
4 c. sugar
1 tsp. garlic
Preparation

Cook beets until tender.
Peel and chop.
Put beets into mixture and boil a few minutes again.
Pack in jars and pour mixture over beets.
