Short Bread(English) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. (1 c.) butter or butter substitute
    2 c. cake flour (or 1 1/2 c. pastry flour)
    1/2 c. cornstarch
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Cream butter.
    Add flour sifted with cornstarch and sugar and knead until smooth.
    Roll out; place on 9-inch baking tin.
    Prick all over with a fork.
    Bake 50 to 60 minutes in 300\u00b0 oven.
