Mexican Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    15 to 17 soft corn tortillas (in dairy case)
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    1 envelope taco seasoning mix
    3 c. grated cheese
    1 can kidney beans
    3 c. frozen corn
    1 qt. stewed tomatoes (with onions and green peppers)
    1 envelope fresh salsa mix
    sour cream
Preparation
    Mix tomatoes and salsa mix; set aside.
    Brown beef well and drain off fat.
    Rinse with hot water.
    Return to pan and mix in taco seasoning and add a small amount of water.
    Mix well.
    Cover pan.
    Simmer to blend flavors for 3 to 5 minutes, then uncover to let water evaporate.
