Butter Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/4 c. soft butter
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    2 egg yolks
    1 c. corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
    2 egg whites
Preparation
    Line small tart pans with pastry.
    Sprinkle raisins in bottom. Cream butter and sugar.
    Beat in egg yolks, corn syrup, vanilla and salt.
    Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into mixture. Spoon into tart pans, filling 3/4 full.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Place rack below center of oven.
    Makes 24 tarts.
