Black-Eyed Peas - cooking recipe

6 c. fresh black-eyed peas
3 (14.5 oz.) cans ready-to-serve, reduced sodium, fat-free chicken broth
2 tsp. Creole seasoning
1 tsp. olive oil
1/4 tsp. hot sauce
Preparation

Combine black-eyed peas and remaining ingredients in a Dutch oven; bring mixture to a boil.
Cover; reduce heat and simmer 45 minutes or until peas are tender, stirring occasionally.
Serve with a slotted spoon.
