Cornbread - cooking recipe

2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. cornmeal
1 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/4 c. shortening
Preparation

Mix ingredients well.
Pour into a greased pan.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for about 20 to 25 minutes.
