Broccoli-Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. butter or margarine (1 stick)
    1 1/3 c. cooked rice
    1 (8 oz.) jar process cheese spread
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
Preparation
    In saucepan, combine broccoli and onion; cook according to package directions.
    Drain well and add remaining ingredients; stir well.
    Pour mixture into a buttered 2-quart casserole.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 gas oven for 30 minutes.
    Yield:
    8 servings.
