Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. strawberries
1/2 c. water
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1 baked pie shell
Preparation

Crush half of strawberries, leave rest whole.
Make syrup of water, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice and salt.
Add crushed berries and cook until thick, stirring constantly.
Place whole berries in pie shell.
Let cooked filling cool a little and pour over whole berries.
Chill and serve.
Top with spoon of Cool Whip.
