Fried Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    5-6 T. cooking oil
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. sour milk
    1 t. baking soda
    1 t. salt
    1 t. baking powder
    1 t. nutmeg
    A little vanilla
    Flour enough to roll out dough
Preparation
    Roll out 1/3-inch thickness and cut with doughnut cutter. Fry doughnuts and holes in hot lard until done.
