Gingered Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. frozen, raw, medium shrimp
    4 c. water
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    3 Tbsp. finely chopped ginger root
    1/4 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. sweet white wine
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 to 3 Tbsp. thickly sliced green onion
Preparation
    Peel shrimp under running water and devein.
    Heat water to boiling.
    Add 2 tablespoons salt and shrimp.
    Cover and heat to boiling.
    Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
    Drain.
    Place shrimp in 11 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch pan.
