Apple Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. cooked apples
    6 c. sugar
    1 c. red hot candy
    1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Wash and core apples.
    Put on and cook (peeling and all). After tender, run through colander.
    Add ingredients.
    Cook in heavy pan.
    After apples get to cooking good, turn down and cook for 30 minutes.
    Put in jars and make sure you boil your seals and rims before placing on jars.
    Good on toast or English muffins.
