Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. Nabisco 100% Bran
    2 c. boiling water
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 qt. buttermilk
    5 c. flour
    5 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    4 c. Kellogg's \"All-Bran\"
Preparation
    Pour the boiling water over the bran.
    Cream together the shortening and sugar.
    Add creamed mixture, eggs and buttermilk to bran mixture.
    Sift together the flour, soda and salt; add to mixture.
    Stir in the \"All-Bran.\"
    Batter can be stored, covered, in the refrigerator for weeks.
    Spoon mixture into desired number of muffin tins and bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes.
