Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. flour
    dash of salt
    1 small can evaporated milk
    1 small can chocolate syrup (5.5 oz.)
    1/2 c. milk
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 eggs (save 3 whites for meringue)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except vanilla and butter, in saucepan. Cook slowly, stirring constantly, until thick (just to a boil). Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla and butter.
    Pour into baked pie shell.
    Top with meringue and brown.
