Swiss Brunch Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 slices bread, crusts removed
1 lb. sausage meat
1 tsp. French's mustard
1/4 lb. grated Swiss cheese
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/4 c. milk
3/4 c. light cream or evaporated milk
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Place bread in bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Brown sausage in pan and drain.
Mix with mustard and spread over bread. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
Mix eggs, milk, cream, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Pour over cheese. Cover and refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
Let stand at room temperature for 40 minutes.
Remove cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
Serves 6.
