Holiday Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
9 c. flour
2 pkg. yeast, softened in 1/4 c. warm water
1/4 tsp. mace
1 c. cream
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 c. scalded milk
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped maraschino cherries
Preparation

Mix all ingredients except nuts, raisins and cherries just as you would for normal bread making.
Just before adding last cup of flour, add remaining ingredients and complete kneading.
Place in greased bowl and let rise twice.
Make into loaves.
Let rise and bake 40 to 50 minutes in preheated 350\u00b0 oven.
Ice with powdered sugar and sprinkle with nuts.
