Afternoon Tea Cakes(Sputniks) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

6 eggs, beaten
1 heaping Tbsp. nutmeg
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
6 scant c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
4 tsp. baking powder

Preparation

Mix all ingredients.
Drop by spoonfuls into hot fat.
Keep turning.
Shake in bag with a little sugar.
