Dot'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    2 sticks butter or margarine
    1/2 c. shortening
    5 eggs
    3 c. sifted plain flour
    7 oz. bottle 7-Up or Sprite
    1 tsp. lemon and coconut flavoring
Preparation
    Beat sugar, butter or margarine and shortening together well. Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Bake in tube or long loaf pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325\u00b0.
