Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. all-purpose flour
4 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients. Cut in shortening. Add buttermilk. Knead slightly.
Roll to 5/8-inch thickness. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 or more minutes or until slightly brown.
