Scotch Eggs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 hard-boiled eggs
    1 1/2 lb. sausage
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 egg, beaten
    Parmesan cheese, grated
    Italian herbs (optional)
    oil for frying
Preparation
    Peel hard-boiled eggs.
    Crumble sausage in bowl and add oregano, cheese and herbs.
    Mix together.
    Pack sausage mix around eggs.
    Dip in beaten egg; roll in bread crumbs.
    Fry all sides in 1/2 inch of oil.
    Drain on paper towels.
    May be eaten hot or cold.
    One egg is filling.
    Great for supper with some fresh fruit.
