Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cake flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 lb. butter (1 stick)
    4 eggs
    1/4 tsp. soda
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla flavor
Preparation
    Cream butter; add sugar and cream thoroughly.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating constantly.
    Stir flour, salt and soda.
    Add alternately to mixture with buttermilk.
    Add vanilla flavor. Grease and flour pan.
    Cut wax paper and line bottom of pan.
    Pour batter into pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Remove from pan and dust well with powdered white sugar.
