Toffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. water
    chopped pecans
    3 Hershey bars
Preparation
    Cook butter, margarine, sugar and water over medium heat, stirring often, for a very long time (until it reaches hard crack stage on candy thermometer, approx. 12 minutes). Use a heavy pan and stir with wooden spoon because it gets very hot!
