Homos Min Sahul - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1 onion
    4 to 5 potatoes, peeled and cut into eighths
    1 can chickpeas
    salt, pepper and cinnamon to taste
    1 small can tomato paste
Preparation
    Fry onion until golden brown.
    Add potatoes, tomato paste and about 3 cans (from paste) of water.
    Cook until potatoes are done. You may add more water if needed.
    Season to taste.
    Add chickpeas just before potatoes are done.
    This is a great Lenten dish.
