Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    enough water to cover
    1 large can Carnation milk
    1/2 stick butter
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. cold water
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Peel and dice potatoes and onion.
    Add enough water to cover all and cook until tender.
    Add Carnation milk, butter, salt and cornstarch mixed with cold water to potato mixture and cook until the soup has a consistency of heavy cream.
