Granny'S Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 medium potatoes
    1 carrot
    2 stalks celery
    1 onion
    1/2 c. sweet peppers
    3 slices bacon
    salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Peel the potatoes and grate on large grater.
    Grate the carrot on medium sized grater.
    Mince the celery.
    Cut the onion fine. Put all of the vegetables into a saucepan and cover with water. Cook until tender.
    Fry the bacon, break up and add to the vegetables. Add salt and pepper to taste.
